Sandhya Sadana is a non-governmental, secular and charitable organization was founded in the year 2013 to alleviate the different problems faced by the elderly. Striving to strengthen family bonds and promote community-based support systems, the Trust has been conceived and established. Sandhya Sadana is a place where residents can enjoy a home-like environment in a serene setting, and where family members find peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are safe and well cared for. Our home provides a nurturing and supportive environment to senior citizens, providing them with rehabilitative services, medical care, spiritual support, love and the companionship they desire.

A Warm Welcome From Our Founder

Sandhya Sadana, a senior retirement home, was proposed in 2013, under the “ATTRU MALLIKARJUNIAH CHOWDAIAH MEMORIAL CHARITABLE TRUST, KOLLEGAL”. The primary objective of the organization is to advocate, care, and serve the aged residents with compassion, kindness, respect and to bringing happiness in their lives.

Late Sri.Attru M Chowdiah

Late Sri. Attru M Chowdiah was born on 18th March 1923 in Kollegal town and finished his primary and high school in Kollegal town. Completed his intermediate in Arts and Science, C.D College, Anantapur, Andra Pradesh in 1941-1942. He completed his Bachelors Degree at Madras Engineering College, Madras University, Guindy between 1942-1945. He obtained A.M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Michigan State University, East Lansing Michigan in 1947-1949 and Ph.D in Civil engineering, Michigan State University, East Lansing Michigan in 1962-1965.
